Depart from New York, JFK Airport, on Royal Air Maroc, Moroccan national
carrier, overnight flight to Casablanca. starting your journey as

Arrival at Casablanca Mohamed V airport at 6:00 am. Welcome and transfer
to early check in to Hotel. Casablanca city for sightseeing the economic
capital of Morocco : the central market, the Habous district, the
Royal Palace, the Mohamed V square, the residential area of Anfa and
the outside of the Hassan II Mosque. Lunch at Women's shelter. Optional

After breakfast, travel to El Jadida for City tour, Sea-food lunch
and continuation to SAFI, famous for its pottery, where you will enjoy
a brief afternoon visit, and continuation to the former Mogador and
Portuguese stronghold. City tour. Dinner and accommodation at in Essaouira.

Desert". This is a city to provoke instant excitement for all

All day
will be devoted to an historic visit of this magnificent Eleventh
Century City featuring the Menara , the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian
Tombs, and the Badia and Bahia Palaces in the Melah Jewish quarter.
In the afternoon, visit the Medina, Souks, and the exhilarating Jamaa

After breakfast,
departure to Agadir. Your tour will start in the afternoon, highlighting
the historic Agadir (12th century) and the Valley of the birds; a
little Zoo of birds from around the world kept in aviaries that authentically
imitate their natural habitat. The next sight is the Kasbah, a citadel
atop the hill overlooking the city and the Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards,
explore the Museum of Agadir devoted to the Souss valley culture and
Saharan Nomadic life. Tour of modern fish processing plant (major
new industry for Agadir) and a cooperative fruit packing and cold
storage facility. Dinner and accommodation at Agadir Amadil Beach.(

Excursion
to Taroudant. Taroudant, isolated from the typical tourist's path,
is and was an important Caravan center, where touareg influence is
seen almost everywhere. Called the "Grandmother of Marrakech"
it has the feel of a small market town on some caravan route. Taroudant
has two souks: an Arab souk, which is especially known for its jewelry
and African limestone sculptures, and a Berber market with fresh vegetables
and exotic spices. Return to Agadir for dinner and accommodation
at Agadir Amadil Beach.( B&D)
After breakfast travel
100 km to Tiznit. Although Tiznit is clearly Atlantic, it also displays
surprising ramparts which protect the city's treasures. Created by
Sultan Moulay Hassan in the middle of the 19th century to stabilize
the dissident South, Tiznit established a reputation by settling Jewish
"silver artisans" within the walls of the city. Excursion
to Tafraout and surrounding area. The drive from Tiznit to Tafraout
is one of the most spectacularly beautiful that you can make in Morocco.
The amazing splendor of the Anti-Atlas mountains, the contrast between
oasis greenery and barren mountain slopes and the bizarre lunarscape
around Tafraout make this drive so very worthwhile and memorable. Overnight

Today, the surrounding
areas of Tiznit are laid to agriculture, but Tiznit has retained an
unparalleled reputation for metalwork and silver jewellery, as can
be seen in the jewelers souk. The walls, buildings and ancient alleyways
of the Medina have all the ingredients for a fascinating visit. Optional

After breakfast,
return to Agadir. Afternoon visit to the Complex Horticole d’Agadir
including one of largest protected preserves of the famous Argan tree,
an endangered species unique to Morocco, producer of highly prized
oil, and habitat for local goats.. Evening closing reception with
Morocco Chapter of University of Minnesota Alumni Association and
other Anglophone Moroccans. Overnight in Agadir Amadil Beach
