Feb 09: 1st Day: JFK / Casablanca

Feb 10: 2nd Day: Casablanca / Rabat
As you arrive in Casablanca you will be greeted by your host and then transferred to Rabat. Rabat is an imperial city with a rich history of kingdoms that have swept through it for many centuries; leaving behind a collage of different architectural styles and a unique legacy. Afternoon sightseeing will highlight the Mellah (Jewish quarter), the Mohamed V mausoleum, the Oudaya Kasbah and the Andalous gardens. Dinner at the Hotel

Feb 11: 3rd Day: Rabat/ Volubilis/ Meknes/ Fes
Travel to Fes via Volubilis, the Roman capital of Northwestern Africa. Lunch in the interesting city of Meknes. Afternoon arrival to Fes with sightseeing of the Ramparts, the Gates, the Borjes (forts) and the Andalous "quarter". Dinner at the Hotel Sheraton de Fez, orientation meeting to follow.

Feb 12: 4th Day: Fes
Start the historic tour by the Mellah, the King's palace and the Batha museum of Moroccan arts and the walking tour of the Medina, the fascinating walled city with its incredible maze of medieval twisting alleys, blind turns, mosques, shrines, fountains, workshops and every conceivable kind of market. Lunch served in a typical Moroccan restaurant. For the afternoon, continue visiting and shopping. Dinner at the hotel.

Feb 13: 5th Day: Fes / Azrou / Khenifra / Marrakesh
Morning departure to Marrakech, via Azrou across the middle Atlas mountains, with visits to Berber villages, scenic views and classic markets. Lunch in Khenifra. Dinner at the hotel in Marrakesh.

Feb 14: 6th Day: Marrakesh
Historic visit of Marrakech will include the Menara, a magnificent pool surrounded by flower beds, reflecting the image of a beautiful Moorish construction built in 1866 for the dignitaries to enjoy glorious sunsets with the snow capped Atlas mountains as a backdrop. The pool is also a unique and functional irrigation system to the surrounding areas that belongs to an ancient architecture adapted to the desert life. The tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia Minaret (the twin tower of la Giralda in Sevilla, Spain), the Saadian tombs demonstrating Moorish architecture in its perfection. The tombs, consisting of splendid mausoleums built in the sixteenth century, were walled for some time, not to be discovered until 1917.   Valentine's Dinner with Fantasia at Chez Ali in Berber tents with unsurpassed entertainment. 

Feb 15: 7th Day: Marrakesh / Casablanca
Morning to relax and swim at the hotel. Afternoon depart to Casablanca. Dinner at the hotel.

Feb 16: 8th Day: Casablanca / New York
Early morning transfer to the Airport, connect flight at Casablanca to New York/ JFK with a memorable trip of a life time.
